About The Position

The Center Service Manager II is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a Head Start Program site, managing a team of 21 to 30 staff members, or multiple sites with up to 20 staff. This role involves ensuring compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and USDA requirements while promoting parental involvement in children's education. The manager coordinates with various program coordinators to enhance school readiness and maintains a safe and healthy learning environment for children.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education, child development, early childhood education, or a related field.
  • 2 years of progressive experience in an early childhood setting or administrative/supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and Head Start Performance Standards is preferred.
  • Ability to manage program finance, budgets, and data entry.
  • Proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and Adobe.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
