About The Position

The Center Manager 2 implements program philosophies and guidelines in the Child Development Centers (CDC) ensuring a courteous, caring, professional, service-oriented environment for the children. The position requires working Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possess and maintain bronze level in accordance with Appendix L-2, Oklahoma Director's Credential.
• Must obtain a bus driving certificate and CDL within the first 90 days of employment.
• Four (4) years' experience in child development or early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Create schedules for staff and fill in for absent teachers.
• Monitor staff performance and communicate expectations, policies, and procedures.
• Manage billing records and licensing paperwork to ensure compliance with USDA, DHS, and EHS regulations.
• Identify developmental needs of children, professional needs of staff members, and support needs of families.
• Plan, supervise, and implement programs in accordance with policies, licensing, and program philosophy.
• Ensure monthly reports are completed properly and submitted to the appropriate persons in a timely manner.
• Maintain records with up-to-date required papers and documentation in accordance with licensing regulations.
• Conduct parent/teacher conferences and staff meetings.
• Attend director's meetings and training or conferences appropriate for child development centers.
• Produce monthly newsletters and plan field trips or community projects.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.
