About The Position

The Center Manager (also known as Center Director) at Mathnasium is responsible for maintaining a successful and engaging learning environment for students from Kindergarten to 12th grade. This role involves leadership in student assessments, parent relationships, staff training, and performance measurement, all aimed at enhancing the educational experience and achieving center goals.

Requirements

• Full-Time availability for a minimum of 5 days per week, including weekends.
• Maintain an average of 35-40 hours per week to remain in good standing.
• Pass an employment math assessment to evaluate math understanding and skill level.
• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance various leadership responsibilities.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
• Completed Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business, education, or a related field.
• Previous management or leadership experience preferred.
• Previous customer relationships and sales experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Mandarin or Korean preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Center Manager in student assessments and consultations, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and generating custom learning plans.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, communicating effectively about student progress and lessons.
• Train and develop instructional staff, aiding in hiring and identifying team strengths and weaknesses.
• Maintain center expectations and quality, holding team members accountable for performance.
• Measure center performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing reports and making necessary adjustments.
