About The Position

The College of Nursing (CON) at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, the state’s flagship research institution, seeks a Center for Nursing Practice Manager who can provide project management leadership and day-to-day operational oversight for CON’s Center for Nursing Practice (CNP) . The role supports the development and expansion of nurse-led care, international service, continuing education, including coordination of the Precious Prints Project. In addition to project oversight, the position delivers high-level administrative support and meaningful budget and reporting responsibility. The role monitor expenditures, tracks commitments, supports purchasing and reimbursements, and prepares routine budget updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 2+ years' experience with program or project oversight
  • 1+ years' experience in managing fiscal responsibilities
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without need now or in the future for sponsorship for employment-based visa status.

Responsibilities

  • Management and oversight of the Center for Nursing Practice in collaboration with the Associate Dean
  • Collaborate with the Budget office regarding income, expenses, and the formulation of budgets for practice, projects, and conferences.
  • Support fiscal responsibility of the Center through grants, projects, continuing education, and student travel.
  • Act as primary point of contact for questions by phone, email, and in-person about the programs (CNP, Nurse-led Care clinics, Global Initiatives, Precious Prints, Continuing Education and Conferences) under the purview of the Center for Nursing Practice and in consult with the selected faculty directors.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships for current and future global partnerships; Collaborate with College of Nursing Center for Global Engagement, and Honors College to find scholarship opportunities to support nursing student international experiences.
  • Provide oversight and management of the Precious Prints Project and assist the faculty director of the Project.
