About The Position
Precious Babies Learning Academy Daycare and Preschool Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Center Director to oversee our daycare operations across six locations in Philadelphia, PA. With over 20 years of experience in the childcare industry, we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. The Center Director will be responsible for managing staff members, ensuring compliance with company rules and regulations, and maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. The operating hours are from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and the center is closed on all major holidays. In this role, the Center Director will conduct regular staff meetings to communicate expectations and updates, enforce posted classroom schedules, and plan educational outings and field trips that enhance the children's learning experiences. The Director will also be responsible for maintaining the facility, ensuring that it meets health and safety standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for families. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for early childhood education. The Center Director will work closely with parents and guardians to foster a collaborative relationship that supports the children's development. This position requires a commitment to professional development and a willingness to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can motivate and inspire staff while ensuring that the center operates smoothly and effectively.
