About The Position

Kiddie Academy of Bellevue is seeking an energetic, organized, experienced, and inspiring professional to join as Center Director. This leadership role involves inspiring and leading a team of qualified teachers and administrative staff to provide the best learning and development experience for children and their families. The position offers the opportunity to combine ECE experience with business management skills to influence the Academy's operations. The company, a franchise group (KAGS) of locally owned early childhood education academies in the Greater Seattle area, operates Kiddie Academy locations in Bellevue, Bothell, Kirkland, Mill Creek, Kenmore, and Seattle. Their programs are known for providing high-quality care through their Life Essentials® and Character Essentials ® curriculum. Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of full-time experience in managing large (>100 capacity) center-based programs in a Center Director role
  • Candidates should have all credentials required for the position of a Center Director per WAC or be willing to get them shortly after joining
  • A thorough knowledge of WA Licensing regulations (WACs) for childcare centers and a great understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
  • Must have at least an AA degree in childcare or management, or related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Action oriented, organized, strategic thinker, focused on getting the right things done
