About The Position

The Learning Experience – East Brunswick is seeking an experienced Center Director to lead daily operations of our early childhood education center. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who is passionate about high-quality childcare, team development, and creating a positive learning environment for children and families. Our center serves infants through preschool-aged children in a structured, play-based learning environment focused on academic readiness and social-emotional development.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
Previous leadership experience in a childcare, daycare, or preschool setting preferred
Strong knowledge of childcare licensing regulations
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage staff and maintain a positive center culture

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the childcare center
Lead, coach, and develop teaching staff to maintain high program quality
Ensure full compliance with New Jersey childcare licensing and safety regulations
Manage staffing, scheduling, and overall center operations
Support enrollment growth through tours and family engagement
Maintain strong relationships with families, staff, and the local community
Monitor center performance and support financial and operational goals
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and organized school environment
