About The Position

The Center Director at Learning Care Group is responsible for overseeing all operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe and educational environment for children while managing staff and maintaining compliance with licensing standards. This role is pivotal in promoting the growth and development of children and fostering strong relationships with parents and the community.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.
• Willingness to attain state mandated Director requirements.
• 2 years of Center Director experience in a licensed center is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage school staff by planning work schedules, evaluating performance, and developing improvement plans.
• Assist with the implementation of the company-provided curriculum, coaching teachers and communicating standards.
• Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
• Create an educational, caring, and safe environment for children and parents.
• Promote a positive image of the company and enhance its reputation in the community.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
• Help achieve profitability for the company.
