Head Start is a federally funded preschool program delivering services to 3 and 4-year old children and their families in core areas of early learning, health, and family well-being. The Center director is responsible for the overall operation of the centers' early childhood program(s) in accordance with Agency policy. This includes the supervision of the physical facility, bus transportation, and all center staff. Responsible for identification of children and families in need of educational and social services and implementing program activities to meet the needs. Insures parent involvement in the formulation and implementation of Head Start Center activities.
