About The Position

The Bellevue YMCA is Now Hiring for a Center Day Camp Coordinator
Position Type: Seasonal
Pay Range starts at $15 per hour (or more depending on experience)

Do you love working with kids and creating unforgettable experiences? The YMCA of Middle Tennessee is looking for Center Day Camp Coordinator s to help us lead and elevate our camp programs. This role is all about teamwork, creativity, and making a positive impact.

Requirements

• Minimum Age: 18
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience as a camp counselor or in a leadership role; experience running camp programs is a plus!
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid (can be completed post-hire).

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead awesome camp activities that kids will love.
• Support and supervise camp counselors, ensuring a safe and fun environment.
• Communicate with parents and address their concerns with care.
• Organize schedules, manage supplies, and keep records to ensure smooth operations.
• Be a role model for YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
