Childcare Center with up to 20 children (starting at 18) that is a collaboration with Franklin Memorial Hospital to serve employees of FMH, WMCA, and possibly the general public. Enrolled children will be above the age of 3 to Kindergarten enrollment. The program will utilize an emergent, play-based curriculum. As part of a team for management of childcare centers, the Center Coordinator/Lead Teacher is responsible for coordinating effective, purposeful, and respectful team communications to promote effective teaching practices. Provides support, leadership, and supervision to childcare staff. Responsible for the oversight, planning, and delivery of developmentally appropriate activities using an emergent curriculum to meet children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Ensures that parents are supported in meeting their children’s needs. Responsible for staff and child safety, maintenance management, inventory and supplies acquisition, nutrition, and center financials. This is a full-time position that requires occasional evening and weekend hours for training.
