About The Position

Mathnasium Learning Centers are dedicated to teaching children math in a way that they understand, master, and enjoy it. Mathnasium Brooklyn is currently seeking to hire Math Sr. Instructors who are passionate about teaching math to young children and are proficient in math up to Algebra 2 (Advanced) at the very least. The role offers a rewarding opportunity to transform the lives of students from 2nd to 12th grade, with consistent yet flexible part-time hours available after school and on weekends. The work culture is fun, supportive, and encouraging, with opportunities for advancement and continuous training on effective teaching methodologies. All necessary curriculum and instructional tools will be provided to the instructors.

Requirements

• Passion for working with kids at a learning center and customer-centric approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Attention to detail, ownership and self-driven
• Appreciation for Math/ STEM learning provided
• Demonstrated relevant experience
• Ability to balance and multi-task effectively

Responsibilities

• Front end Management and overall center upkeep
• Most regular scheduling requests
• Organizing student binders, based on inputs
• Parent relationship management and communications
• New Parent assessment process and lead management
• Community Event support
