About The Position

This is a full-time, year-round position. This position assists in unloading railcars, loading trucks at bulk Portland cement facility.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screening prior to employment and will be subject to random drug tests.
• Must adhere to all safety requirements, procedures and company policies.
• Must be dependable and hardworking with a positive team attitude.
• Must have the physical fitness strength to lift 70 pounds and stamina to work on feet for prolonged periods and agility for repetitive work.

Responsibilities

• Unloading railcars.
• Loading trucks.
• Operate equipment.
• Basic maintenance.
• Assist with the daily clean-up.
• Be willing to work at various locations doing a wide variety of tasks at Fairbanks Block & Building Materials and Fairbanks Precast & Rebar.
• Other duties as directed by the Operations Manager and Shop/ Yard Foremen.
