Requirements

• Must have 5 years of experience in form setting and concrete finishing
• Set forms, place concrete, finish concrete
• TWIC Card Required and Basic Plus

Responsibilities

• Preparing, smoothing and finished surfaces of poured concrete roads and parking lots
• Level concrete to specified depth and workable consistency, with handheld screed and floats to bring water to surface and produce soft topping
• Smooth and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete
• Finishes concrete surfaces, or wets and rubs concrete with abrasive stone to impart finish
• Produces rough concrete surface with broom
• Removes rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces using powder grinder or chisel and hammer
• Patches holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound
• Performs other duties assigned
