CSNF is currently recruiting a Cellular Therapy Registered Nurse for our busy Specialty Practice offering a GENEROUS SIGN-ON BONUS. The Cellular Therapy Registered Nurse provides highly specialized nursing care to patients receiving chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy and bispecific antibodies in the outpatient setting. This role involves intensive patient monitoring, early toxicity recognition, care coordination, patient education, and rapid escalation of care to manage potentially life-threatening complications. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

Requirements

  • Strong IV skills
  • 1 year of nursing experience required
  • CAR-T/cellular therapy experience required
  • Active Florida Registered Nursing License required

Nice To Haves

  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or BMTCN preferred
  • Radiology experience preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) designation preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administer lymphodepleting chemotherapy prior to CAR-T, CAR-T infusion, and supportive infusions per protocol. Monitor and assess patient for adverse symptoms prior to and during therapy.
  • Travel required to multiple CSNF clinic sites to assist with administration of bispecific antibody infusion step-up doses. Educate clinic nursing staff on CSNF process and protocol for bispecific administration.
  • Patient and caregiver education on treatment plans, expectations, side effect management, and after-care instructions.
  • Closely monitor for cellular therapy related toxicities such as CRS and ICANS.
  • Communicate change in patient status with providers and patient care team 
  • Manage central venous access devices (ports and CVCs)
  • Insure HIPAA compliance and timely documentation in EMR 
  • Schedule and manage follow-up visits, laboratory monitoring, and infusion appointments
  • Communicate patient status changes promptly to the multidisciplinary team
  • Deliver pre- and post-infusion care for patients receiving CAR-T and bispecific antibody therapies in accordance with CSNF protocols and REMS requirements
  • Coordination of care in compliance with FACT accreditation and CSNF policies
  • Weekend hours required on CAR-T infusion weeks only to assess and treat patient toxicities in clinic.
  • All other duties as assigned
