About The Position

In this role, you will have the chance to initiate from architecture, and work with various teams to design, implement, verify, validate, bring-up and productize sophisticated transceiver architectures. As part of an outstanding RF architecture team, you will define HW and FW control architectures for real-time control of transceiver. Join us and help us innovate new wireless systems technologies that continually outperform the expectations!

Requirements

  • BS with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Good understanding of communication theory and signal processing algorithms.
  • Good understanding of digital design and architecture principles, including ARM architecture and AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB), and NoC architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with RF transceiver or similar complex SoC development and bring-up.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to develop detailed system architecture and design documentation.
  • Good experience with Matlab, Python, and/or C/C++ and efficient analysis and automation scripting.

Nice To Haves

  • MSEE or beyond is preferred.
  • Good understanding of the KPIs (performance, power, latency, etc) of wireless SoCs and efficient HW architectures to achieve the same.
  • Strong technical background in 5G-NR/LTE/UMTS (3G/2G) physical layer and protocols is a plus.
  • Experience with silicon prototyping, emulation systems, and virtual platforms a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in bring up of real silicon in lab, ability to efficiently use lab equipment (such as spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meter, etc).

Responsibilities

  • Initiate from architecture and work with various teams to design, implement, verify, validate, bring-up and productize sophisticated transceiver architectures.
  • Define HW and FW control architectures for real-time control of transceiver.
  • Collaborate with other product development groups to push the industry boundaries of wireless systems.
