About The Position

The Analytical Lab function within Cell Therapy Technical Operations (CTTO) is seeking an intern to serve as a technical support for Aseptic cell culture and helping with flow and molecular testing at the Summit CTTO Vector Laboratory. This position is highly cross-functional, building collaborations with Drug Product, Vector, Quality Control, Manufacturing Sciences and Technology, and Process Development. The full-time internship will take place June - August 2026.

Requirements

  • BSc or MS candidate in STEM field (e.g. chemical engineering, biology, or equivalent).
  • Practical knowledge of the technologies related to cell culture and bioprocess engineering.
  • Interest in hands-on laboratory work and experience in working in a biologic lab setting.
  • Interest in assessing scientific technologies and their applications in the Cell Therapy industry.
  • Organizes and presents data for internal and external groups.
  • Effectiveness in both team environments and as an individual contributor with supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing experiments related to Aseptic cell culture, learn about cell counting, flow cytometry, PCR, and media preparation.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to executed experiments.
  • Work aseptically in a biosafety cabinet.
  • Assist in preparation of protocol studies and reports to support GMP manufacturing activities.
  • Embody the BMS behaviors and embrace the culture with BMS and the Cell Therapy Technical Operations Organization.
