The Cell Therapy Account Manager is an individual contributor role focused on achieving commercial success within treatment sites. This is accomplished through excellent account planning, execution, and collaboration with all stakeholders to ensure a seamless and differentiated patient experience. The Account Manager will be the primary contact for CAR T treatment sites, responsible for developing site-specific account plans and coordinating resource deployment to meet customer needs. The company is seeking a highly engaged, entrepreneurial team player to ensure the success of CAR T therapies in the cellular therapy marketplace.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of sales experience, marketing, and/or commercial experience with 5+ years in Hematology/Oncology
  • Experience in key account management strategy, including working in large, complex accounts, identifying influential stakeholders, and working with them to better serve patients
  • Customer service oriented with quick responses, high reliability, and excellent follow up
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with leadership and key cross-functional partners across the internal organization to implement key account strategies
  • High degree of technical expertise and business acumen
  • Strong analytical, consulting, and business planning skills necessary to execute on key strategic imperatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including an effective presentation style to connect with diverse groups of customers
  • Thorough understanding of U.S. compliance guidelines
  • Ability to work independently and travel as needed (up to 50%)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Assess, cultivate, and manage customer relationships across a broad set of stakeholders within assigned accounts to ensure achievement of commercial objectives for cellular therapy launches.
  • Develop a customized site-specific account plan, coordinating the deployment of resources to meet customer needs and ensure a seamless and differentiated customer experience.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for designated accounts and collaborate with cross-functional partners to create a streamlined, organized interface between account stakeholders and all field facing colleagues.
  • Navigate complex account environments and understand the needs/issues of account stakeholders at all levels and drive to solutions that address these needs.
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with cross-functional partners to support the referral of appropriate patients to the treatment centers.
  • Maintain and continuously develop both disease and product specific knowledge.
  • Actively gain customer insights and provide timely feedback to cross-functional partners and Area Business Manager regarding account business trends, changes in the therapeutic landscape, performance, industry issues, and business opportunities and risks.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of cell therapy activities.
  • Drive within their assigned territory by automobile (and in some territories to travel by airplane).
