About The Position

The Cell Line Development Scientist at Eurofins Professional Scientific Services is responsible for supporting the genetic characterization of cell lines that express therapeutic proteins. This role involves various laboratory techniques and instrument maintenance to ensure accurate data acquisition and analysis.

Requirements

  • Experience in mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques.
  • Experience with mass spectrometers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biotech, Cell Biology, or a related science field.

Responsibilities

  • Support the genetic characterization of cell lines expressing therapeutic proteins.
  • Prepare samples using enzymes like trypsin and chymotrypsin.
  • Prepare buffers and reagents and reconstitute enzymes.
  • Perform protein reduction and deglycosylation.
  • Maintain instruments by filling solvents, calibrating, and troubleshooting mass spectrometers.
  • Acquire samples on instruments and verify data accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot experimental issues.
  • Manage laboratory inventory and organization.
