About The Position
Pratt & Whitney is at the forefront of transforming the future of flight, and we are seeking a highly motivated and technically talented individual to join our Hot Section Module Center - North (HSMC-N) team. This position is focused on leading and coaching in a dynamic operations environment to support our Special Technologies Business Unit on the first shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction. This role requires a blend of daily supervisory responsibilities, project management, and effective communication with support group members, which are critical to the department's success. In this position, you will provide direction to skilled HSMC-N bargaining unit employees and lead employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts. You will establish work schedules that take into account customer requirements, resource availability, and other priorities. Your leadership will emphasize team building through daily toolbox meetings and effective communication, ensuring that the team is responsive to production requirements and changes. A commitment to quality, environmental health and safety (EHS), and continuous improvement is essential, as is the ability to drive quality and customer satisfaction through our CORE operating system (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence).
