The Department of Cell Biology and Physiology at Brigham Young University (https://cell.byu.edu) announces up to two full-time, tenure-track faculty positions. Eligible candidates will possess a Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience in physiology, anatomy, cell biology, exercise science, or related discipline. Applicants should demonstrate strong potential for effective teaching and mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students in the classroom and laboratory. Candidates specializing in anatomy and/or physiology (cellular, molecular, systems, exercise, or applied) are especially encouraged to apply. It is expected that the new faculty will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in anatomy and/or physiology. They will maintain an active research program that provides high-quality experiential learning opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. Their research program will result in regular presentations at scientific conferences and a consistent record of peer-reviewed publications in reputable scientific journals, as well as efforts to obtain external funding to support their research. It is also expected that they will be involved in university service and actively engaged in professional organizations at the regional and national levels.
