About The Position

This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a CEI Inspector for major long-term highway/bridge projects in the greater Orlando area. Be involved in projects with our Florida Construction Management Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. Your Impact: Job Description: Monitoring on-site construction activities Inspecting ( sampling and testing ) materials in accordance with client’s scope of services (plans, specifications, and special provisions) Maintaining detailed accurate records of daily operations and significant events Preparing inspection reports ( Daily Work Reports ) Monitoring and inspecting the Work Zone Traffic Control (in accordance with the client’s requirements) Transporting samples to be tested in a Department laboratory or appropriate facility Fulfilling other duties as needed Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing) Responsible for assisting the Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties Who You Are

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant construction inspection experience.
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
  • Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening
