As a CEI Inspector, you will: Observe and inspect construction work and prepare daily inspection reports and constructability reviews Oversee daily construction activities including earthwork, erosion control, reinforced concrete, and equipment installation Ensure construction progress aligns with specifications and contract documents by reviewing plans and analyzing moderate complexity shop drawings Maintain daily job logs and report deviations from plans to management promptly Participate in reviewing submittals, assisting with Requests for Information (RFIs), and other related tasks Coordinate with contractors, client personnel, and other stakeholders regarding inspection activities Advise contractors on non-compliance or contract violations and collaborate on corrective actions Verify that highway work zones and traffic control setups meet contract requirements Assist in contractor evaluations and perform other duties as assigned Use or learn necessary inspection tools and computer systems for accurate data collection and reporting Your work will directly contribute to shaping environments where people live, work, and thrive, all while growing your career within a supportive, people-first culture.
