We are looking for candidates interested in performing the duties of a CEI Inspector, on a variety of transportation projects in the NW Florida region. Our FDOT CEI Inspector would report remotely to our Orlando FL office, but could reside anywhere in the Florida Panhandle.

Requirements

• Experience in construction inspection, particularly in transportation projects.
• Knowledge of FDOT standards and specifications.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.

Nice To Haves

• Certification as a CEI Inspector by FDOT.
• Experience with project management software.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations related to construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on transportation projects to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Document daily activities and report on project progress.
• Coordinate with contractors and project managers to resolve issues.
• Review and approve contractor submittals and change orders.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed on job sites.
