About The Position

ProSidian Seeks a CEI Inspector (Construction Engineering & Inspection) | Construction Oversight & Regulatory Field Inspection [PCBOCC0009008] for Program Support on a Exempt 1099 Contract: No Overtime Pay Basis Technical Element located CONUS - Pasco County Across The South East Region supporting Pasco County in enhancing performance, resilience, and sustainability of its water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems through comprehensive engineering, planning, environmental, and digital transformation services. Seeking CEI Inspector (Construction Engineering & Inspection) candidates with relevant Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Sector Clients such as PCBOCC. This as a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Construction Oversight & Regulatory Field Inspection Functional Area Professional - Water, Wastewater, and Reclaimed Water Treatment & Storage Systems Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; AA/AS in engineering or related technical field preferred.
• FDOT CEI certification and OSHA 30-hour preferred.
• 5+ years CEI experience, especially within water infrastructure or energy-efficiency projects.
• Skills in Construction QA/QC, field documentation, civil standards, materials testing protocols, and digital tools (e.g. tablets, GIS).
• Competencies in field awareness, compliance monitoring, communication, situational adaptability, and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections for utility, water, wastewater, and reclaimed water infrastructure construction projects.
• Ensure construction practices align with sustainability standards, safety codes, and approved project specifications.
• Document progress, manage field reports, and support CEI services through project lifecycle phases.
