About The Position

AECOM is seeking highly talented, self-driven and motivated CEI Construction Services Inspectors to be based in the West Palm Beach, Florida area. The work will be at the four-airport system for Palm Beach County Department of Airports for their four airport system. You will work with a great team, that is very experienced, performing work for airport improvements.

Requirements

• High school Diploma plus 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• US Citizenship is required due to the projects associated with this position.
• Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years construction inspection, one (1) year of which shall have been in roadway and/or bridge construction inspection.
• Valid Drivers' License and good driving record.
• FDEP Stormwater Inspector Certification.
• CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I.
• CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I.
• CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing construction projects as an inspector, ensuring contractor's work complies with construction plans and specifications for airfield and landside civil and architectural projects, including taxiways, aprons, parking lots, roadways, bridges, and parking garages.
• Monitoring on-site construction quality control testing.
• Conducting inspections and observations of construction progress and materials testing.
• Receiving general supervision from and assisting the Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties.
• Monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
• Performing daily field inspections and maintaining inspection records.
• Participating in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
• Tracking quality assurance progress.
• Writing daily construction reports.
