We are looking for candidates interested in performing the duties of a CEI Inspector Aide, on a variety of transportation projects in the NW Florida region. Our CEI Inspector Aide would report remotely to our Orlando FL office, but could reside anywhere in the Florida Panhandle.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of construction practices and procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in civil engineering or construction management.
• Familiarity with transportation projects.
• Certification in construction inspection.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the inspection of construction projects to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Document daily activities and report on project progress.
• Communicate with contractors and project managers regarding project status and issues.
• Conduct field measurements and tests as required.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and tests.
