As an Engineer supporting Colleague Experience Technology Services, you will develop reporting and analytics solutions leveraging best-in-class vendor products and services to support the analytical needs for Colleague Experience Group (aka H.R.) stakeholders. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of Software Development experience in a professional environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) tools, Data Warehouse (DW), Data Modelling concepts, developing Physical, Business Model & Mapping (BMM) and SQL/PLSQL
  • Hands-on experience with the design and development of backend data models for Reporting/Analytics and building of visualizations leveraging tools such as Power BI & Tableau
  • Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods
  • Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines with independent judgement
  • Proven ability to solve technical problems and the ability to influence key stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Oracle’s analytics offerings, such as interactive dashboards & reports using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), OBIE, and OAC components like RPD, RDG

Responsibilities

  • Creating reusable data assets ready for analysis
  • Developing analytical reports to be consumed by key stakeholders leveraging Oracle Analytics, Power BI, & Tableau
  • Applying software engineering best practices to analytics code
  • Collaborating with product owners, delivery managers, vendors, engineers, architects, and key stakeholders to resolve complex technical problems and create solutions
  • Functioning as a member of an agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)
