Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? Pratt & Whitney has an immediate opportunity within our Commercial Engines GTF Partnership Finance team for a Finance Manager. This will be based onsite at our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location. What You Will Do: The Commercial Engines GTF Partnership team has a unique opportunity within Finance. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is driven, analytical, and able to effectively manage various priorities. This individual needs to be able to navigate multiple responsibilities, including addressing various cross-functional questions, meeting monthly/quarterly close requirements, managing and analyzing large amounts of data across many internal sources, and interfacing with our external collaborators. The Partnership group is responsible for possessing knowledge of existing risk & revenue sharing agreements, by which the collaborators share in applicable revenues and expenses for the Geared Turbo Fan (GTF) programs. Our team is the primary financial interface between Pratt & Whitney and our GTF program collaborators around the world. We support the collaborators by reporting, analyzing and forecasting each collaborator’s production contribution, providing quarterly financial forecast packages, and providing insight into questions about actual results and outlooks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 8+ years of relevant work experience or an Advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • US citizenship required due to contract requirements.

  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
  • SAP & Power BI system knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and data mining skills.
  • CE Aftermarket knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Teamcenter or other Engineering software programs a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Interacting externally with GTF collaborators and internally with various teams across P&W including Accounting, Program Finance, Partnership Program Office, Digital Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials, and other organizations.
  • Reporting and analysis of GTF collaborator contributions, utilizing a suite of software programs including MS Access, Power BI, Business Objects, and SAP.
  • Data mining and reporting of periodic and ad-hoc investigations with data tables from SAP and the Part Valuation & Contribution System (PVCS).
  • Assisting in enhancements of PVCS, SAP S/4HANA implementation, and other reporting capabilities.
  • Conducting PVCS validation checks and balance routines to ensure system accuracy.
  • Active involvement in the monthly and quarterly financial close processes.
  • Supporting forecast processes, including monthly MML forecasts, quarterly forecasts for collaborators, and P&W’s annual long-range plan.
  • Assisting in driving resolution of open collaborator questions.
