About The Position

Primary function is to serve as pilot in command under 14 CFR 135 within the State of Hawaii. This position includes both weekend and holiday work.

Requirements

• Commercial Pilot License required
• 2000 hours total time required
• 350 hours turbine multiengine required
• Airline Transport Pilot (multiengine) required
• First-Class Medical Certificate required
• Must be available for weekend and holiday work as assigned
• 16 days/month commitment
• Must reside in Honolulu, Hawaii
• Demonstrated history of regulatory compliance
• Demonstrated proficiency with technically advanced aircraft
• Ability to consistently project professionalism in manner and appearance
• Must possess polished interpersonal and communication skills
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid US Passport
• CASS eligible; current US Government security clearance; or SIDA.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Part 121/125/135 experience preferred

Responsibilities

• CE-408 Captain flying both part 91 and 135 flights
• Maintain a high level of customer service by responding quickly to customer requests
• Inspect aircraft for defects and malfunctions per pre-flight checklists
• Check passenger and cargo distributions, and fuel amounts to ensure weight and balance specifications are met
• Monitor engine operation, fuel consumption, and functioning of aircraft systems during flights
• Monitor gauges, warning devices, and control panels to verify aircraft performance and regulate engine speed
• Start engines, operate controls, and pilot airplanes to transport passengers, mail, or freight, adhering to flight plans, regulations, and procedures
• Conduct post maintenance check flights
• Record in logbooks information such as flight times, distances flown, and fuel consumption
• Variable schedule requires some weekend and holiday work
• Additional duties and responsibilities as per the official Western Aircraft Charter Operations Manual
