About The Position

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, a national leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, is seeking applicants to deliver mail on a CDS mail route in the Catskill, NY area. The position requires applicants to be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid New York driver's license, be able to lift 70 lbs., and work in all weather conditions. Applicants must reside in the area and furnish a vehicle that meets postal regulations, including specific load space and liability insurance requirements. Duties include sorting and loading mail, delivering along an assigned route, and performing other administrative tasks. The role offers an hourly wage plus vehicle reimbursement and benefits paid as cash equivalency.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Valid New York driver's license
Able to lift 70 lbs.
Able to work in all types of weather conditions
Must reside in the area
Must furnish vehicle, which meets postal regulations
Must meet postal driving requirements
One (1) Dependable (Mini-Van or Equivalent) vehicle or the equivalent that provides 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels.
$100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for contract vehicle
Must be able to pass a drug test
Have a criminal background history that meets the USPS standards.

Responsibilities

Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 360 active boxes
Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle.
Delivering mail along an assigned 38.6-mile line-of-travel.
Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
Other administrative duties are required.
