We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDR Division Architect - AI and Interoperability in Healthcare to lead the architectural vision and strategy for our organization's AI initiatives, focusing on interoperability and clinical knowledge within the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare systems, AI technologies, and interoperability standards, enabling them to design and implement solutions that enhance patient care, streamline operations, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

  • Define and drive the architectural vision for AI and interoperability solutions within the healthcare division, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and clinical objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop a comprehensive AI strategy that leverages advanced technologies to improve clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and patient engagement.
  • Design and implement interoperability frameworks that facilitate seamless data exchange between disparate healthcare systems, ensuring compliance with standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.
  • Lead efforts to integrate clinical knowledge and best practices into AI solutions, ensuring that systems are designed to support clinical decision-making and enhance patient care.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical staff, and business units, to gather requirements, identify opportunities for AI and interoperability integration, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Stay current with advancements in AI, interoperability standards, and healthcare technologies, evaluating their potential applications within the organization and driving innovation.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of AI and interoperability solutions, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that all architectural initiatives adhere to regulatory requirements, ethical guidelines, and industry standards, promoting responsible AI usage and data governance within the healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML algorithms, frameworks, and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) as they apply to healthcare data.
  • In-depth knowledge of interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and healthcare data exchange protocols.
  • Proficiency in software development languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Experience in software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing integration solutions that connect various healthcare systems and applications, ensuring data consistency and interoperability.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Familiarity with clinical data types, sources, and standards, including experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and clinical data analytics.
  • Experience in designing and implementing agentic AI systems that can autonomously perform tasks and interact with users effectively.
  • Experience in developing and implementing clinical decision support systems.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards related to healthcare data (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
