About The Position
The position provides direct, active instruction within an adult educational correctional system/facility in core academic subjects, study skills, and life skills to incarcerated students. The position will utilize approved curriculum and assessment and will be in alignment with the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) academic standards for education. Instruction will be performed in line with best practices for professional educators to include active, engaging and creative teaching, the use of technology, and assessment informed lesson planning and goal setting. The position may also deliver social science curriculum designed to challenge and improve upon thinking errors.
