Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to telehealth providers by scheduling medical appointments and documenting medical histories and vital signs.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with minor medical and surgical procedures.
  • Administer medications as per training and DOC guidelines.
  • Perform clinical support services, including answering phones and maintaining medical supplies.
  • Coordinate grievances and maintain patient education materials.
  • Observe and report on the physical and emotional conditions of inmates during medical evaluations.
  • Communicate effectively with all necessary contacts within DOC and outside agencies.
  • Ensure safety and security in the clinical environment by monitoring sensitive items.
