This position is a hybrid role requiring employees to work from our headquarters location in Seattle, WA every Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote all other days. The CDN & Cloud Network Engineer II will design, implement and support network and identity solutions in a public cloud (AWS) as a member of the Cloud Network and Governance team at Redfin. You’ll be able to use your vision, development skills and experience to help shape Redfin’s cloud based network and identity & access solutions. The Role You will work as a member of our cloud infrastructure team to shape our cloud strategy and build scalable solutions that benefit the customer and other engineering teams at Redfin.

Requirements

• You have 3+ years of hands-on cloud platform management experience, preferably in AWS including: Cloud Networking: CloudFront, API Gateway, VPC, WAF, Shield, Route53, AWS Client VPN.
• Experience with cloud platform observability tooling such as Datadog and CloudWatch.
• You have 2+ years of experience in establishing, managing, and scaling a multi-account or multi-project cloud based environment.

Nice To Haves

• Cloud Governance: Control Tower, Service Catalog, Account Factory IAM, AWS IAM Identity Center, AWS Organizations, Cognito
• You have a deep passion for Infrastructure as Code and can leverage tools such as Terraform, Spacelift, Terraform Cloud, Atlantis or CloudFormation.
• You have experience with a scripting language such as JavaScript, Python or node.

Responsibilities

• You will design and implement cloud-based network and identity & access solutions.
• You will partner with SEO, application, platform, and infosec teams, designing, improving, and resolving potential infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• You will write, own, and maintain Infrastructure as Code across team repos.
• You will leverage your network and/or systems knowledge to increase scaling and performance for Redfin services.
