About The Position

The Yard Driver is responsible for maintaining yard organization and safely spotting trailers at dock doors and throughout the yard. This role requires a CDL license and may involve moving trailers to offsite locations. The Yard Driver will also update trailer moves and yard activities using a hand-held device.

Requirements

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid, active Commercial Driver's License
• Ability to load and unload heavy items
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience
• High school diploma and/or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse tasks as needed (10%)
• Conduct daily inspections on yard equipment; drive yard trucks and spot at designated locations (80%)
• Ensure yard accuracy by leveraging the Yard Management System (10%)
