About the position

In this role, you'll drive company commercial vehicles including, dump truck, side or belly dump, mixer truck, tractor-trailer, water truck, or low-boy to deliver equipment and materials to job sites and customers in the Butte & Anaconda areas. Responsibilities

  • Operate trucks delivering materials to construction and customer sites in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Check delivery tickets for special instructions prior to arriving on the job.
  • Ensure proper materials are loaded in a safe manner.
  • Respond to customer questions related to basic product knowledge and basic construction techniques.
  • Water roads and plant facilities to control dust.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operational order.
  • Maintain vehicle in a clean and orderly condition, inside and out.
  • Maintain operator logs, timecards, mileage sheets, vehicle repair sheets, and records in accordance with company policy.
  • Communicate with Dispatcher regarding deliveries.
  • Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A or B CDL unrestricted and current DOT medical card.
  • Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance, attendance, and punctuality.
  • Demonstrates the willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work and communicate well with Supervisors, Truck Drivers, Heavy Equipment Operators, and other employees.
  • Ability to conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA, DOT and all other company or state rules and regulations.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment-controlled substance testing.
  • Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date.
