The CDL Driver will safely and efficiently deliver equipment between locations and jobsites while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience preferably in-town, congested areas
  • Successfully pass post offer drug and physical screens and have a background that meets company requirements.
  • Maintain valid A CDL with DOT physical examination (medical card)
  • Clean MVR and successfully pass background, drug screen and pre-employment physical
  • Strong work ethic with ability to follow directions.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with rigging or crane-related work is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre and post trip inspections on equipment and vehicles and notify appropriate team members, if any damages or defective equipment has been found
  • Assist team members with setup and breakdown of cranes / rigging equipment as needed
  • Properly load and unload equipment to trailer in accordance with company safety standards
  • Working knowledge of FMCSA regulations
  • Adhere to Sterling Crane standards
