About The Position

We are looking to hire someone interested in training to become a CDL Truck Driver for Buehler’s Fresh Foods. The education and licensing cost to obtain a CDL Class A license along with the DOT certification process will be covered by Buehler’s Fresh Foods. A typical day for a Truck Driver may include: Safely load and unload products from Warehouse and Central Kitchen, operate 18-wheel semi to and from Warehouse and Store locations, responsible for bringing back all recycled waste, empty pallets, deliver internal store mail, return all necessary Food Service and Bakery equipment to the Warehouse, drivers must perform a 'pretrip' on their assigned truck and report any and all issues to the Warehouse Manager, deliver produce to the stores using the Produce Truck, and manage and unload any late inbound deliveries.

Requirements

• 21 years or older
• Willing to go under random substance screening
• Manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures; basic to intermediate level math skills
• Ability to sit, stoop, bend, reach, carry, and perform repetitive lifting up to 80 lbs; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload products from Warehouse and Central Kitchen
