Safely operates a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes. The job requires adherence to Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. The position involves performing pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any unsafe situations, and participating in scheduled training and meetings. The driver will work closely with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe vehicle while ensuring customer satisfaction.
