About The Position
Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a CDL Truck Driver for Ready-Mix operations in Cameron Park. As the nation's largest producer of construction aggregates, Vulcan offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the construction of essential infrastructure across the country. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of ready-mix concrete products, ensuring that customer service is prioritized through effective communication with dispatch, maintenance, and plant management. You will operate a ready-mix truck, maneuvering it on job sites, and ensuring that all delivery instructions are followed accurately. This position requires a commitment to safety, as you will be expected to adhere to all federal, state, and company regulations while operating the vehicle. In addition to driving responsibilities, you will perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, documenting its condition and reporting any issues. Daily maintenance tasks include checking fluid levels, cleaning the vehicle, and assisting mechanics with repairs as needed. You will also maintain daily reports in compliance with DOT and company regulations, ensuring that safety is prioritized throughout your operations. The role may require you to operate a front-end loader to assist in feeding the ready-mix plant and moving materials as necessary.
