About The Position

American factories deserve a supply chain that moves as fast as they do. The next generation of American manufacturing is being built right now. Nox Metals is the supply chain behind it. Nox Metals is a technology company in Detroit supplying aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to aerospace and defense manufacturers. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible. We need a CDL driver who can also work on the shop floor.

Requirements

• Holding a valid Class A CDL
• Based in Detroit and comfortable with overnight long hauls a few times a month
• Comfortable operating heavy equipment and working with your hands
• Reliable. On time. Every day
• Able to lift heavy material and work on your feet
• Low ego. You do whatever the day requires
• Customer obsessed. When you deliver, you represent the company
• Not afraid to work outside normal hours
• The kind of person who sees something that needs doing and does it

Responsibilities

• Drive local and regional deliveries daily
• Make overnight cross-country runs 2-3 times per month when customer deadlines require it
• Load and unload material safely
• Operate saws, forklifts, and other shop floor equipment
• Help maintain an organized and efficient facility
