Requirements

• No prior work experience required.
• Must have a Commercial Drivers License B (CDL).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes.
• Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements as well as all local, state, and federal requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle using standard DVIR.
• Report any unsafe situations or service calls to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
• Participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required.
• Work closely with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies.
• Notify Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
• Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager.
• Ensure containers are positioned correctly and leave the customer's location clean.
• Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal.
• Follow route assignments and complete all documentation at the end of the route.
