About The Position

We have an exciting CDL Transport Driver opportunity in our Merriam office. The CDL Transport Driver will be responsible for completing pre-trip / post trip inspection of Seaboard Food’s company trailers and tractors located at the St Joseph plant in addition to shuttling trailers to various locations. Requirements

High School or GED.
2+ Years with a Class A CDL license required
Analytically and mechanically minded.

Local driving experience preferred

Responsibilities

Preventive Maintenance on tractors and trailers (pre-trip / post trip inspections)
Communicate to the maintenance supervisor about repairs needed
Coordinate through dispatch moving the equipment to and from maintenance locations
Trailer wash outs
Coordinate through dispatch moving trailers from customer to plant
