About The Position

We are currently hiring for winter part time and full time positions starting at $21.00 - $23.00 per hour, plus tips. Days are flexible, work 1-5 days per week. Most shifts vary from 9.0 - 11.5 hours. Drivers must be 21 years old, have a clean driving record, and pass a DOT physical. General Purpose: ● Drive scheduled routes. ● Perform safe and efficient operation of all transportation vehicles and equipment including: related maintenance, daily record keeping, and safety checks of assigned vehicles or equipment. ● Provide guests with accurate and up-to-date information relative to all services and special activities. This is a seasonal position from Nov 22, 2025 to Mar 31, 2026. Dates are subject to change based on the availability of the applicant and needs of the business. Requirements

  • Must be able to safely drive in adverse conditions.
  • Must be able to problem solve and make safe decisions while driving in adverse conditions.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance required.
  • Alertness, spatial perception, judgment, concentration, patience, near and far acuity, depth perception, field of vision, color vision as well as visual discrimination is required on a daily basis.
  • Must be 21 years old - High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must hold a current Commercial Driver’s License - An acceptable driving record is also required.
  • Passenger Endorsement required (P2).
  • Background check required, including Clearing House query.
  • Ability to pass a medical certification test (DOT physical)
  • Pre-employment Drug Screening

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of Purgatory Resort and the surrounding area preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport employees and guests in company vehicles.
  • Maintain an operating schedule and report any problems immediately.
  • Communicate effectively with guests regarding resort information and concerns/problems.
  • Perform Pre/Post Trip Vehicle Inspection; Ensure vehicles are clean, maintained, and in good working order.
  • Immediately report any problems or maintenance requirements to the Transportation Supervisor.
  • Handle ski/snowboard equipment.
  • Fuel and clean vehicle at the end of every shift.
  • Wash vehicles as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
