About The Position

Pacific Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a Class B CDL Shred Truck Driver to join the team at our Mobile Shredding location in Lacey, WA. Previous shred experience would be a huge plus! The schedule will be Monday- Friday; hours of operation vary depending on the route assigned. Typically, will be a 10-hour day. Must be able to work holidays. Starting pay is $36.05 per hour. A typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, with an occasional Saturday as needed and some overnights, 45 hour work week. Requirements

Possess a valid Washington Class B CDL.
Must be able to pass a background check to be NAID certified, which clears the driver to handle sensitive material and work in state buildings.
Have a clean driving record.
Be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening.
Be able to pass a 7 year criminal history background check.

Nice To Haves

1+ years of face-to-face customer service as well as route transportation is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site document destruction of confidential material using mobile-based shredding equipment.
Preparing paperwork neatly and accurately in accordance with all Company, Local, State, NAID, and Federal Policies.
Perform the pick-up of customer material in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner.
Must be able to operate company equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Loading and unloading a truck through a variety of mechanisms.
Using wireless scanning technology and communication devices for service and communication purposes.
