Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Class A CDL driver preferred.
Ability to operate and drive a variety of trucks and trailers.
Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards.
Excellent physical condition and stamina to meet the demands of long-distance driving.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck or other designated vehicle to transport goods over long distances.
Load and unload cargo as needed, using proper handling methods and equipment.
Ensure cargo is secured properly according to safety requirements and company policies.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and maintain a clean driving record.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues.
Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery documentation.
Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues promptly to management.
