About The Position

Hunt Electric, Inc . is looking for a full-time CDL Heavy Equipment Transport Driver . This position reports to the Fleet Manager. It requires a good knowledge of safely loading, properly blocking, bracing, and securing cargo. A valid Class A CDL license is a must. The CDL Heavy Equipment Transport Driver position requires self-motivation and self-management of work with strong interpersonal skills to meet with users in a face-to-face environment. This is not just a driving position, when not driving, responsibilities include helping our mechanic shop to maintain and clean equipment, as well as keep the yards clean and organized.

Requirements

Clean background and MVR.
Experience hauling construction equipment and hauling low-boy trailers.
Know how to safely load, properly block, brace, and secure cargo.
Experience with running various types of heavy construction equipment including track hoe, backhoe, forklift, and loader.
Mechanically inclined with a general mechanical applauded (Auto and Diesel).
Have a valid Class A CDL with no restrictions.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Load and Secure Equipment for transpiration to various sites.
Transportation of Equipment, supplies, and materials to various sites within Utah and the surrounding states.
Assist our mechanics with in-house repairs and diagnose other issues as needed.
Ability to multi task.
Ability to drive a vehicle safely.
Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
