About The Position
CDL / Flat Bed Compensation: $20-hr Hours: Monday- Friday 6am- 3pm Duties: Delivering building materials to residential and commercial job sites Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Accurately complete corresponding delivery paperwork and work with logistics management and customers to communicate issues with loads and delivery time. Inspect vehicle(s) for any safety or operational defects using DOT, maintenance and safety checklists and ensuring emergency equipment is in proper working order. Use of Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) during operation of vehicle; driver will be trained accordingly Requirements: Clean Motor Vehicle Record No more than one (1) moving violation on the MVR in the previous three (3) years. No speeding, excessively, involving and speed of 15 mph or more above the posted speed limit in a 3-year period. Successfully pass a background check Must pass a pre-employment drug screen Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL Minimum of two (2) years verifiable tractor/trailer over-the-road or local driving experience for applicable tractor/trailer drivers. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills required Ability to work a flexible work schedule. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds required. Securing straps across the width of a trailer to secure the product on flat bed trailers. Requirements
