About The Position
The position requires flexibility in working hours and shifts, with a strong emphasis on reliability and punctuality. Employees must be willing to work overtime and on weekends, including holidays when necessary. The work is seasonal, and employees may experience short weeks and layoffs. The company has a no-stop policy, encouraging employees to bring their own lunch and snacks. Responsibilities include collecting C.O.D. deliveries and ensuring they are returned to the company in full. Employees must be able to read and write in English, as well as navigate using GPS or maps. A valid Ohio Class A or B C.D.L. is required, and employees must comply with the company's personal appearance, safety, and P.P.E. policies. Communication is essential, as employees must have an active phone with texting or email capabilities. Additionally, candidates must pass a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol testing. The job involves physical tasks such as climbing heights of up to 13 feet, performing routine maintenance, and lifting weights of 45-50 pounds. Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with customers and co-workers is also a key aspect of the role.
